Matt Brookshire

I began shooting pictures when I turned sixteen. My father gifted his Minolta XG-A 35mm film camera to me. Those days getting a roll of film developed could take a week or more from the local pharmacy. It's much more enjoyable to progress now with digital. I've been selling prints for about 5 years. I'm still learning every day I shoot. I'm currently using a Nikon D3200 that was also gifted to me by my Dad. I've lived in Unionville Indiana for the past 12 years. Most of my best shots are taken in and around where I live on Tunnel Rd. There are many things that surround me that draw my attention as a photographer. I feel I don't have to go far to see the beauty that surrounds me. Indiana is just as captivating as the mountains, it's just not as obvious. You have to still yourself to see it. Like the feeling when you see an open field and want to rush into it.
